Contains natural calcium and Vitamin C. Calcium is essential for the growth and development of healthy bones and strong teeth. It is also useful in osteoporosis and helps control blood cholesterol levels, assists nerve, muscle and digestive function, regulates heart muscle function and sleep. In growing children it is useful for healthy bones and optimal growth, during lactation, for quick healing of fractures and in Calcium Deficiency Syndrome whereas Vitamin C lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels, helps thin the blood and protect it against oxidation. Vitamin C also helps prevent atherosclerosis by strenghtening the artery walls through its participation in the synthesis of collagen, and by preventing the undesirable adhesion of white blood cells to damaged arteries. An adequate intake of the vitamin is highly protective against stroke and heart attack.

Compositions

  • Each 500 mg. capsule contains :
  • Cypraea moneta, Calcined (Cowri Bhasma) 40 mg.
  • Gypsum Calcined (Gaodanti Bhasma) 40 mg.
  • Trapa bispinosa (Singhara) 40 mg.
  • Emblica officinalis, Fresh (Amla) 50 mg
  • Emblica officinalis (Amla) 330 mg

Indications

Osteoporosis, menopausal bone deterioration in women, and calcium and vitamin C deficiency. Also indicated in high LDL cholesterol level and in weakness of heart.

Contraindications

Persons prone to kidney stones, or in cases of hypercalcemia (too much calcium in the blood), hypercalciuria (too much calcium in the urine), hyperparathyroidism and renal impairment.

2 capsules twice daily with water.

Dietary Advice

Consume more of sardines, dairy products (milk, cheese, etc.), and soya milk. Green vegetables, whole grains and unrefined cereals and peanuts are rich in calcium. Foods rich in vitamin C include citrus fruits and juices (orange, lemon, grapefruit, etc.), green vegetables, strawberries, kiwi and tomatoes. Avoid carbonated drinks, alcohol, caffeine and high intake of salt.
